“Watch Now” streams straight from Nick’s home PC and needs a personal access code — it works while that computer is on.
Android Auto normally only lets apps play sound. Beebo Mirror puts the actual picture up on the car’s display — so on a long drive the kids can watch their movies and shows, not just listen to them.
Safety first. The picture appears on the car screen only at start-up, after a built-in 2-minute wait — and that’s your one window for the trip. If the car moves or leaves Park, mirroring stops, and to bring it back you have to restart the car and wait the two minutes again. That restart-and-wait is the whole point: it’s what stops anyone from trying to flip the screen on at a stop light.
Meanwhile nobody misses a thing: sound keeps coming through the car speakers, and passengers follow along on their own phones, tablets and laptops — every screen playing the same moment, together.
In the Beebo app, each viewer gets a customizable audio-sync buffer to nudge their own picture into lip-sync with the speakers — so nothing looks dubbed, even over Bluetooth or headphones.
