Beebo Entertainment (com.beeboentertainment.movie) is a personal media player: it connects to your own home media server and streams the movies and TV shows you already own to your phone. This policy describes the principal data flows and controls in Beebo. Optional features and connection routes may process different information.
Your library, with explicit sharing: source media is stored on your own computer. Beebo account services process sign-in, subscription and connection information. A managed relay can forward traffic, and downloads or shared files are copied to the devices you choose. Optional internet features contact their selected providers.
Beebo Entertainment is a client for a media server that runs on your own computer. Your video files live on that computer. The app catalogs them, shows posters and details, and plays them using the connection route available between your player and your server, which may include a relay.
Optional features use additional data when you choose them: photo backup and file uploads use the selected files; camera and microphone features use the permissions you grant; outdoor activities can use your location and share selected waypoints with your group. Do not share a photo, file, recording or location with guests unless you intend those guests to receive it.
A local or direct route connects your player to your home server. A relay route forwards traffic through the relay you use, which can be Beebo-operated or owner-operated. Beebo’s account and coordination services process account identifiers, sign-in information and connection details such as IP addresses; managed services also need subscription and usage information. Transport encryption depends on the configured route. HTTPS or a VPN does not, by itself, prove that every intermediary is unable to read all content.
Beebo Relay specifically: when your stream uses our managed Beebo Relay, the video and audio are end-to-end encrypted between your devices using WebRTC’s standard DTLS encryption. The relay is a TURN server: it forwards those already-encrypted packets between your devices without holding the keys needed to read them. It cannot see the content of what you watch.
Library files are not automatically moved into Beebo cloud storage by installing the app. This is distinct from a stream passing through a relay, an intentional upload, or a completed download on another device. See the plain-language data-flow guide.
Local media playback does not require opting into advertising. Optional rewards or provider integrations must be checked separately before use; a planned rewards feature is not a claim that an ad service is currently active. Metadata, subtitles, casting, trailers, podcast feeds, updates and payment services may contact outside providers when used. Those requests can disclose an IP address and feature-specific information such as a search term. This website also loads fonts from an external font service. Beebo primarily plays media you provide. Original Beebo demonstration media is separate from your personal library. You are responsible for having the rights needed for the files you add and any sharing you enable.
Beebo includes household controls and shared activities. Parents should configure household permissions and supervise optional guest sharing, recording and location features. Account and connection services process the information described above; a child profile is not a promise that no personal information is processed.
You can remove downloads and local app data using the app or your device settings. Clearing app data does not delete files already copied to your computer, another device or external storage. Use the account deletion instructions for service-account requests. Uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription. Check your billing account separately. What Beebo's own account and relay services keep, and for how long: for a managed relay connection, we keep how much data your household used, as a total for each month (so managed-relay plans can be metered; these monthly totals stay with your account until the account is deleted), and basic connection records — including IP addresses — for 7 days, kept only to investigate abuse of the relay. After 7 days those connection records are deleted. We do not sell your data, your viewing history, or your connection records to anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
Hiding viewing history from household screens is different from encrypting it against the person who controls the storage computer. A private file vault also depends on its own encryption and recovery settings. Giving another person a recovery key can give that person the ability to recover protected files. Review those settings before uploading sensitive information.
