Privacy in plain words
Your source library remains on your computer. A stream may pass through a relay. Beebo’s account services handle sign-in and connections, and a few optional features talk to other services, which this page lists. It is a plain-language summary and not a legal document: the privacy policy has the formal terms.
The short version: your source library lives on your computer; direct connections and relayed traffic take different routes. Beebo account services process sign-in and connection information. The details are in the privacy policy.
What is primarily stored on your PC
These are primary storage locations, not a promise that information is never transmitted or copied. Sync, downloads, backups, metadata lookup and guest sharing can use other devices or services.
- Your movies, shows and music, and their file names.
- Who has watched what: watch history, viewing profiles and parental settings.
- Photo backups from your phone.
- Saved secrets such as your TMDB key, OpenSubtitles password and email app password. OS-backed secret storage is used when available; protection depends on the platform and an available keyring. Do not assume every host configuration encrypts every saved setting.
- If you use a relay, your stream passes through that relay. Encryption endpoints depend on the route: do not assume that transport encryption makes every intermediary unable to read content.
What Beebo’s service handles
Beebo runs a small service (beebo.tv) that does the introductions. It handles your Beebo account email and sign-in, your yourname.beebo.tv name, and setting up the connection between your phone and your PC. That includes connection details such as internet (IP) addresses, and, for away-from-home sign-in, your household members’ usernames with scrambled passes rather than plain passwords. It also handles subscriptions and payments for the paid options. The account coordination service and the relay are different services. The former coordinates access; the latter can carry the media traffic. Connection and usage records are separate from your source files.
Local playback does not require opting into advertising. Optional integrations and rewards, when available, need their own data disclosures. Casting, store and network components may contact their providers. A source review is not a guarantee of zero telemetry across every dependency.

Campsite Mode’s guest server runs on the local Wi-Fi and makes no internet requests of its own, with one exception: for “stream once”, the host phone fetches the film from your home Beebo computer (over the internet when you are away from home) and shares it with the guests. The rest of the app is not offline while it runs. Scavenger Hunt reads your location while its screen is open; your own position while hunting stays on your phone. If you are signed in and drop a waypoint, its position goes to the other phones in your room through Beebo’s server, which keeps each message for about an hour; a cleanup that runs every 15 minutes then deletes it. (The old Beebo hub was retired on October 2, 2026 and is no longer used.) This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google can see a visit to these pages; it uses no analytics scripts.

Pick a place to watch the traffic
You need a tool that lists the internet addresses a device talks to. Use your router’s DNS log (its list of the web addresses your devices look up), a Pi-hole, or on the Windows PC a network monitor such as Wireshark or the
netstat -bcommand. On Android, a tool such as PCAPdroid works. -
Use Beebo normally for a while
Sign in, play something and open a few pages. For a clean test, leave the TMDB key, OpenSubtitles account and email settings empty.

Compare the names you see
With those left empty, we expect a Beebo PC to talk mainly to
login.beebo.tv, youryourname.beebo.tvaddress,relay1.beebo.tvandbeeboentertainment.com(for update checks), plus the place that hosts the installer download. Names from the table above appear as you use those features. If you see something else, tell us at privacy@beeboentertainment.com.What you’ll see: A short, explainable list of names. Anything unexplained is worth a message to us.
