Beebo started as a personal media server. We're building it out into a small family of products that all run on the same infrastructure — so nothing sits idle, and the savings go into keeping prices low instead of into running separate servers for separate products.
The core product: turn your own movies, shows, music and photos into a real library, streamed from your Windows PC to your phone, tablet, browser and TV.
When a direct connection, automatic UPnP, or your own relay isn't possible, Beebo Relay carries your video the rest of the way through our managed relay. Encryption and connection details depend on the selected route. It's an optional fallback, not something you need just to watch away from home.
A straightforward VPN for your household, run by the same team and the same servers as everything else. It is In development and works in our own tests on our first server, with a kill switch, a connectivity watchdog and a per-program tunnel bypass list. We're keeping it invite-only while we finish billing, testing and polish before it's for sale.
Host a Minecraft server on your own PC and let household members and invited friends join from anywhere — no router or firewall setup, the same direct-then-relay connection Beebo video already uses. A paid option to host the server on our servers instead of your PC is planned.
Most companies run a separate set of servers for every product — one for media relay, another for VPN, another for game hosting — and a lot of that capacity sits unused most of the time. Beebo runs all of its products on the same servers instead, with separate quotas so one product can never slow another down. That efficiency is what lets most households pay nothing for away-from-home access in the first place, and lets us price Beebo Relay by streaming quality instead of by the gigabyte when you do need it — it's the model behind everything else we build.
As a region gets enough households actually paying for away-from-home access, we plan to add server capacity closer to them, so connections stay fast without relying on one central location. This isn't automatic or instant — every new region goes through a real cost-and-reliability check and a human decision before it happens, the same way any responsible infrastructure change should. But the intent is straightforward: grow where people actually are, funded by what they're already paying, not by raising prices to cover empty capacity elsewhere.
