At home
No Beebo software fee
Use your own computer and your own local network. Your hardware, power, storage and internet remain your own costs.
PLANNED · NOT AVAILABLE TO BUY YET
What costs money, and what doesn’t.
Beebo is free to use at home. Watching away from home is free whenever a direct connection, automatic router set-up (UPnP) or your own relay works. This is the only page that lists prices. It describes an optional Beebo Relay plan that is Planned: you cannot buy it yet, and nothing on this page starts a subscription.
Status: Planned. These are our planned terms. They are not an offer you can accept today, and they may change before launch. Updated .
Always free
Away from home, your own route
No Beebo relay charge
A direct connection, automatic router set-up (UPnP) and your own relay are free from Beebo. Beebo does not cap the streams or the quality on these routes; your computer, router and internet decide what works. Any outside provider’s charges are separate.
BeeboVPN
Status: In development
BeeboVPN is invite-only testing and is not offered to the public. It has no price yet. See BeeboVPN status.
Beebo Relay: optional, Planned
Beebo Relay is a backup route for watching away from home when a direct connection cannot be made. You only need it if the routes above do not work for your home. These are the planned plans:
Free plan
After your first month
1 away-from-home stream at a time, up to 480p. No charge.
CA$3 per month
2 away-from-home users at the same time
Planned monthly plan, in Canadian dollars, per household.
CA$5 per month
4 away-from-home users at the same time
Planned monthly plan, in Canadian dollars, per household.
“At the same time” means people watching through Beebo Relay at the same moment while away from home. It is not the number of people you can create profiles for.
The first month is free
When you turn Beebo Relay on, you get Tier 1 for 30 days. It is opt-in: Relay stays off until you switch it on. No card is asked for and nothing is charged. After the 30 days your account moves to the free plan on its own. Nothing renews or charges unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
This is also planned, and it is not active yet.
Not decided yet
- Quality on the paid plans. We expect Tier 1 and Tier 2 to stream up to 1080p, but this is not decided.
- When it starts. There is no start date. Relay is not available to buy until we say so on this page.
- Final amounts and billing. The amounts above are planned. Taxes, the billing period and the cancellation steps will be shown at checkout, before you pay.
- Speed and guarantees. No plan promises a particular speed, and no plan can promise that every home or network will work.
What paying does not do
A Relay plan helps a video reach you when a direct connection cannot be made. Paying does not add movies, shows or music, extra computer power, or support for every file format. Beebo does not include any movies or shows; you bring your own files.
