Beebo Entertainment turns a Windows PC and the media you already own into a personal library for your household. It brings everyday convenience to movie nights, family videos, travel and time away from an internet connection.
What is Beebo Entertainment?
Beebo is personal home media server software for Windows 10 and Windows 11, with an Android companion app and browser viewing options. You choose folders containing your own media. Beebo organizes those files with posters and details, then lets you watch through supported devices. On iPhone and iPad, the current viewing option is Safari, which can be added to the Home Screen.
Beebo does not include a subscription catalogue of movies or shows. Use media you have permission to store and play. Beebo Entertainment is independent of BeeTV and other similarly named streaming apps; it is named after Beebo, a black-and-white French Lop rabbit.
Why can Beebo be valuable at home?
- One place to find your collection. Browse movies, shows and home videos without hunting through folders.
- Make use of equipment you own. A suitable Windows PC becomes the server, with viewing options on household devices.
- Keep everyday viewing convenient. Continue watching and prepare offline downloads for journeys or places with no signal.
- Share on your terms. Manage household accounts and decide who can access the server.
- Bring entertainment along. Campsite Mode supports local sharing, while car companion features support passenger viewing and shared audio.
- Try it at home first. Beebo is free to use at home. Away from home is free too, with a direct connection, automatic UPnP, or your own relay, at any resolution. Its value depends on your collection, devices and household needs. You need a compatible Windows PC for the home server; that PC must stay on for live streaming from it. Check Beebo will work on your internet before getting started.
How does Beebo support privacy and safer use?
Owner-controlled access: Your source media library lives on your computer. You manage family accounts and can remove access. This gives you practical control over who uses your server. Choose content suitable for your household; account management is not a substitute for parental judgement or content review.
Clear data responsibilities: The app’s published privacy policy describes no in-app advertising, analytics or trackers. It also describes a coordination service used for sign-in and remote connections that sees account email and connection details. Optional features have their own data needs, such as location for the campsite scavenger hunt and access to selected files for Space Saver. Consult the app privacy policy for the full scope.
Setup matters: Keep Beebo, Windows and your devices updated, protect your login, grant access only to people you trust, and follow the server setup and remote access guides. The privacy policy describes HTTPS as an option for local connections. Privacy features do not mean every installation is automatically secure.
Passenger-focused car use: Passenger video belongs on passenger devices. Beebo Auto provides audio through the car speakers. Drivers should set up before travel and keep their attention on the road. Read the driving safety guidance.

My long-term goal is a lightweight movies-and-TV setup, with optional tools you can choose as you need them. I want you to have more control over what gets installed and what runs, especially on older phones and computers. Fully modular, pick-and-choose installation is a roadmap goal; today’s settings and available options vary by platform.
Less setup as Beebo grows.
I also plan to fund properly licensed, Beebo-managed poster information so you don’t need to set up your own provider key. That needs funding and a suitable agreement first. I’ll keep the status clear as it progresses.
